Happy Late Thanksgiving

Happy Late Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. This was our first Thanksgiving away from friends and family, it was not the same, but it was still a blessing to be able to spend it with our friends here in Tepic. It was fun watching everyone try new foods. Stephanie did a great job making all the food, and she made the best turkey I have ever had, and I don’t just say that because she is my wife, it was unbelievably good. I was really touched during the dinner, when we went around the table and started to say all things we are thankful for, everyone mentioned how they are thankful for the movement and how it has impacted their life.

One of my jobs in the movement is to influence leaders to lead, and see people start new movement groups. As I have started meeting with a few of the guys down here, they all express the desire to see the movement grow, so it can reach and help more people. One of the guys from that group, Eddie, has taken it upon himself to get permission, from a local hospital that treats children with cancer, so that we can go and start to meet the needs there. The thought of being in a place like that, with that kind of suffering honestly scares me, but I know that this why we have the Spirit of God in us, to go and bring peace and comfort in situations like that.

Our big toy drive concert has been postponed now till January. I was frustrated by that at first, but now I am realizing that it is going to work out for the best. We now can get more funding/sponsorships from businesses in Tepic and the government agencies, and Andy and Nayeli will be back from the states. It has been really amazing to see the relationships we are building with companies and government agencies grow. I feel that with these relationships in the future we will be able to have a platform to expose the movement more, and more importantly, help bring the love of God to people. Also with these relationships it is going to help us with our short term mission teams, because we will be able to get permissions faster and easier. It is funny how music is opening up the doors for us to share the love God.

Blessings.

Wow, you guys are doing amazing work. People are being changed, I can see people looking back on what you guys are doing and trying to position themselves in the same way. Blessings,
