LOS HORVATHS  

Hey Everyone.

Wow, this April has been busy in a lot of ways. We moved, spent a week in Cofradia for a missionary care week with two counselors, found a new house to host all our ministry out of, and have been planning what the next 6 months look like for us.

Some things that our on the horizon right now:

Community:

• Launching a movement group on the main University in Tepic,
• Starting a movement group in a needy neighborhood with our short term mission team coming in June
• In the summer we want to take a trip to Manzanillo to help a friend who wants to start a movement group with surfers.
• Continuing are small groups in the juvenile hall.
• Investigating possibilities of a venue to serve as a youth community center for concerts, movie nights, and a place that the different movement groups can meet at once a month for celebration/testimony services.

Social help:

• Feedings at the hospital
• Adopting street people once a month and giving care packages
• Adopting needy families to provide basic needs and show love by giving them a party
• Visitation at a Children’s cancer ward
• Investigating how we could build economic houses for people
• Mentoring at the orphanage

Expression:

• The month of May we want to play in as many bars and schools as possible.
• In the summer we want to do a mini tour to Guadalajara and Manzanillo in support of people who are interested in starting movement groups, this would include a social help project and meeting with people explaining what the movement is.
• Our new house we have called “The White Room” we want to establish it as a place of expression where we have movie nights, concerts, parties, and our movement fellowship times. The vision is for it to be a place that all the youth know about in Tepic and have gone to, for us it is a main way to first meet people and can share with them what we are doing here in Tepic. We hope to grow out of this house soon!

We want to thank all of you who continue with us in this journey in Tepic. We appreciate your friendship and giving. This month was a costly month for us financially, with the moving we have had to spend a lot of money on the basic needs in life, refrigerator, stove, washing machine, kitchen table, other house hold amenities and then after all that our clutch went out in our car and we had to replace it. If you feel led to help us out in any of these expenses we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you again to those of you who already gave in response to those needs.
